Hello! Thank you for taking the time to learn more about the firm and how we serve our clients. With over 20 years of legal experience, I have been a dedicated and tireless advocate. Before I became a lawyer, I was a foster care caseworker and handled foster care placements and adoptions. After graduating from law school, I worked as an Assistant District Attorney, where I handled cases from arraignment to trial. I prosecuted various offenses including, narcotic offenses, assaults, sex abuse cases, and alcohol-related offenses.

After working as an Assistant District Attorney, I worked for a New York City law firm as an associate representing educational institutions with respect to the educational rights and needs of students with disabilities pursuant to the IDEA, ADA, Section 504 and related statutes. I participated in the Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings and handled impartial hearings, student discipline hearings, and employee discipline cases. I have handled wrongful termination and discrimination cases and represented not-for-profit organizations with respect to corporate governance and compliance.

Drawing upon my experience as a foster care caseworker; arbitrator; prosecutor; and special education attorney, I founded the Samuels Law Firm where I use my background and experiences to serve you.  At the Samuels Law Firm, we are committed to providing personalized, compassionate, and competent services while guiding you through the many stages of life. We understand that no one likes to think about the possibility of disability, aging, or death; however, how you prepare for these life events, makes a difference.  We want to help you protect and preserve your legacy, while giving you peace of mind. We do this by working closely with you to meet your legal needs.
